Become a Buckley’s Beekeeper

… and help us establish 3,000 new hives in the next 3 years

Bees pollinate 70 of the 100 crops that feed 90% of the world. You don’t need us to tell you how much bees matter.

That’s why we’re on a mission to help save the 35 species of British bees that are currently under threat of extinction.

Our newest and most ambitious campaign (so far…) We want to establish 3,000 more hives in just 3 years and we need your help to do this.

We are looking for passionate beekeepers to join us in managing colonies of honeybees in your local area as part of a UK-wide initiative. Many of these colonies will be supported and funded by our amazing clients and it will be your job to look after them.

“Three quarters of the world’s food crops rely on pollinating insects”

David Attenborough

What can we offer?

Not only can we offer you the opportunity to be a part of a wider, positive environmental campaign whilst doing something you love, we can also offer:

  •  Training
  • Competitive pay
  • Travelling expenses
  • Your own Buckleys Bees beesuit and equipment

Bee part of our passion

Just like the bees, our beekeepers are busiest from April – September, undertaking weekly hive and bee inspections, making sure the colonies are fit, healthy and functioning properly.

Out of season, our beekeepers still have an important job to do and will typically visit the colonies they manage once or twice per month.
