Conservation Driven. Professionally Managed.

At Buckley’s Bees, our work is born out of an absolute passion for the incredible role the honeybee plays within our ecosystem. We are not a commercial honey factory; we are a dedicated conservation organisation. When your business hosts a colony, your dedicated, professional Buckley’s Bees beekeeper takes complete care of the hives throughout the seasons. Your teams do not need to do a single thing.

Our Nature-First Honey Promise

Honey is the vital fuel that bees create to survive the harsh British winter. We operate under a strict, ethical beekeeping ethos: we only ever harvest true surplus honey. While a fair British summer can yield a wonderful harvest, we never guarantee a specific quantity. By partnering with us, your business openly signals that you put the health and wellbeing of the colony ahead of commercial exploitation.

How It Works: The Seamless Corporate Journey

Site Consultation & Safety Assessment

Step 0

We handle the complexities for you. Our team will chat through your site options and complete a thorough Health & Safety assessment. We establish a secure, low-footfall area tailored to your premises, ensuring your team feel completely safe and confident.

Sourcing Local, Native Stock

Step 0

We never import bees, which avoids biosecurity risks. We source local, native, or near-native British honeybees (Apis mellifera mellifera) in partnership with regional BIBBA breeders, strengthening the genetic resilience of your local pollinator population.

Full Seasonal
Management

Step 0

Our professional beekeepers visit your hives regularly throughout the active season (April to September). We manage everything from health checks and parasite control to swarm prevention. It is completely hands-off for your facilities team.

The Ethical Harvest & Custom Bottling

Step 0

If the colony produces surplus honey, we carefully harvest and jar it within our dedicated Cheshire processing room. We can custom-brand the jars with your company logo, ready to be shipped back to you or hosted for sale on our website.

Tailored biodiversity for every sector

Hosting a hive goes far beyond standard CSR. It provides distinct, practical advantages across various industries:

Corporate beehive FAQs

Yes, entirely. Native British honeybees are selectively bred for their calm, gentle temperament. We carefully position hives away from primary walkways, often using natural barriers like hedges to direct their flight path safely upwards and away from human traffic.

A: You dictate the journey. Some partners choose to distribute custom-branded jars directly to employees or VIP clients as sustainable luxury gifts. Others (like our house-building clients) choose to list their honey on the Buckley’s Bees website, with proceeds directly benefiting environmental charities.

A: If space, logistics, or safety requirements prevent on-site placement, you don’t have to miss out. We offer a comprehensive Sponsor a Beehive program, where we site and manage a dedicated colony on your behalf within our protected regional sanctuaries.
